Delete your Saveoury account
This page explains how to delete your Saveoury account (Android and iOS app com.saveoury.app) operated by Elevate Labs PTY LTD and the data linked to it. You can do it in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete it in the app
- Open Saveoury and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & data.
- Tap Delete account (at the bottom of the screen) and review what will be deleted.
- Confirm it’s you by signing in again with Apple, Google, Facebook or your password. Your account is then deleted.
Your account and data are removed from our live database straight away, and you are signed out. If you signed up with Apple, Saveoury’s access to your Apple ID is revoked too. We email you a confirmation. This cannot be undone.
Want a copy first? In the same screen, tap Export my data to save your lists, watchlist and savings history as a file.
Request deletion by email
If you have uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
- Email [email protected] from the email address your account uses, with the subject Saveoury account deletion request.
- Say how you signed up: email and password, Google, Apple or Facebook.
- We reply to confirm it is you, then delete the account. We complete verified requests within 30 days.
We only act on requests from the account’s own email address. If your request comes from a different address, we will ask you to resend it from the right one — this stops anyone else deleting your account.
Signed up with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”? Your account uses an Apple relay address instead of your real one. Find it on your iPhone under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Saveoury, and include it in your email.
Email a deletion requestWhat gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email address and profile photo
- Your shopping lists, list groups and every item on them
- Your price watchlist and price alerts
- Your savings history
- Your notifications, push notification tokens and in-app settings
- Feedback you submitted from the app, including the copy forwarded to our private team channel
- Your usage analytics: we ask our analytics provider (PostHog, EU) to delete your profile and its events
- Your sign-in records, including any linked Apple, Google or Facebook sign-in
- Your membership of lists other people shared with you. Lists you own are removed for the people you shared them with, and they are notified.
What we keep, and why
- Abuse-prevention records. Rate-limit and free-trial records that carry only an internal ID — no name, email or lists. We keep these so deleting an account cannot be used to reset free-trial or usage limits.
- Billing records. When paid subscriptions are available, store transaction records may be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Crash reports. Our crash reporting provider (Sentry, EU) holds error reports under an internal ID only — no name or email. They expire automatically within 90 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Backups. Encrypted database backups can hold a copy of your data for a short time after deletion. They are overwritten within 30 days.
Before you delete
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. If you have a Saveoury Premium subscription, cancel it first or the store will keep billing you. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Signed up with Apple? Deleting in the app removes Saveoury’s access to your Apple ID. If you asked us by email, or Saveoury still shows up, remove it under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple on your iPhone.
- Shared lists. People you have shared a list with will lose access to it. Tell them first if they still need it.
Want to delete less than everything?
You can remove individual lists, items and watchlist products from inside the app at any time, without closing your account.
